    General css question

    jquest4
      Still new at this,,,,let me go laymen on you.
      Situation, I have a single table in the middle of the page, ~ 2" gap between border of page and border of table, (all sides).
      Question: Why when I move the curser on the left, bottom and right of the table in the gap, the curser seems normal, but when I move the curser above the table ( in the 2" gap) the curser defaults to the table.
      Guess: Do I have a margin goofed up, or some invisible header?

          Hello,

          It could be a margin, either the body or table.
          We would need to see the code to know for certain.

          You can check it by zeroing out the body margin in your CSS:

          body {
          margin: 0;
          padding: 0;
          }

          Then, just replace any margin value in the table CSS with margin: 0px;

          If the top of the table is now flush with the top of the browser window, it
          was a margin issue.
          If not, there's something else...table inside another tag, impossible to
          know without looking at it.

          Take care,
          Tim
