"Simple Flex tutorial"? Woah, that's an extremely huge article... Great initiative but I hope that people won't get scared off because of the dimensions of that article. Also, some syntax highlighting won't hurt either and I'd also look for a nicer theme if I were you.
Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, I've been a little disappointed with WordPress in that the default theme restricts you to a very narrow part of the width of the browser, and I don't want to spend a lot of time fiddling with the mechanics of my blog.
Regarding the size of the article, I guess most consider blogs as a sort of super twitter, short articles? I thought it would just be another venue for my content.
Thanks for sharing that post with the forums.
Being a new Flex Developer (< 2 months) it helps a great deal to have these early concept drilled in to one's brain by as many different perspectives/writers as possible.
I picked up a few new nuggets of information as well as fortified previously gained knowledge.
I agree that the code text could use formatting to make it more readable.
Well, I broke up that big post into seven smaller posts, and I also changed to the arclite WordPress theme, and now all my posts since November 2008 are gone!
I even backed up the database yesterday but the backup did not seem to have my new posts.
Oh well. I'm kind of busy right now, so I'm not sure when I'll have time to repost all that stuff. We'll see.
