I need to know if there is a way to password or secure Robohelp documents or if there is a way to password specific documents within a Robohelp pages. Either way, I need to setup a robohelp file that can only be viewed by people who are given access.
I know you can setup tags and publish specific pages to different locations, but I need to know if there is a way to setup true secuity within a robohelp document.
Any ideas how this can be done?
Thanks!

Hi there
Sure! Lock it away in a vault and don't allow anyone to view it!
What is your output? CHM or WebHelp?
If it's CHM, there is a product called CHM OwnerGuard that purports to secure a CHM. Not sure how well it works.

If WebHelp, your web admins can secure the folder where the WebHelp lives and require authentication to view anything in that folder or folders below.

True security, in anything. The US is trying to get someone extradited from the UK for hacking into their military computers. Now if there is such a thing as true security, those computers should be enabled with it but look what happened. If you will settle for a little less...
With RH alone, the best you are going to do is generate different outputs and leave it to your developers to control access. You could generate one output and let them restrict the folders but then you get ugly Cannot Find messages.
With RH8 and RoboHelp Server 8, you can get what you want. Maybe this will help you. RoboHelp Reviewers Guide
