    air sdk problem in linux

i'm trying to install the adobe air sdk in linux. i unzip the package downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/air/tools/sdk/ into a folder "AdobeAIRSDK", and add the /bin folder into the PATH environment variable. but when i tried to run the adl, it gives me the following error:

Error loading the runtime (/home/monuser/AdobeAIRSDK/bin/../runtimes/air/linux/Adobe AIR/Versions/1.0/Resources/nss3/None/libnss3.so: file too short)

what's the problem here and how do i get it fixed?

          piercer2 Level 1

Same behaviour for me - if you look at the so files under

          runtimes\air\linux\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0\Resources\nss3

you will see that they are all of zero size - hence too short...

          Any clues, adobe???

Intersestingly, this is the 1.5.2 download, but it says version 1.0???

Resources/nss3/None/libnss3.so is just a symbolic link to /usr/lib/libnss3.so. Could you confirm that this file exists on your system?

What is the filesize of the file?

If that is a link too (as it is on my Fedora box), where does the link point to? Is that by any chance dangling?
