Nothing was wrong with the CS3 setup; it seems like a real step back in usability. I'd say Adobe's changing things just to change them.
But my biggest practical issue is that doing things like opening new documents (in addition to an already open doc) can cause the entire workspace to shift by about 1/3 off the top of the screen (behind the menu bar) and there's no way to get it back down without quitting. Something similar happens when play testing and adding the download profilier; each time I restart it expands the height of the window by 100% of movie's height.
Is anyone else having issues like these? Can I file a bug report somewhere? I'm running CS4 Professional, 10.0, on a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM. Thanks.
I take it back; not EVEN quitting will fix it now. I can't get to the top of the toolbar at all.
Cheers Ned! Still be nice to know if anyone else has experienced this -- I'd also be willing to dump .plist files if I could find any (or be pointed in the right direction).
