    Resize a tabNavigator

    quebequiano Level 1

      Hi!

      I have a TabNavigator and I want to control the distance between it and the limit of the browser. At the same time I want to resize the Tab Navigator dynamically (Expand it-if you expand the browser- Reduce it-if you reduce the browser) I want to set a minimum size for it.

      Thanks (I attach an image)

          Hi there

          You shoudl just be able to use constraint settings to determine the distance of the edges of the tabNavigator from the left, rigth, top and bottom of the browser.  My eaxample below keeps the tab 50 pixels frm each edge.  I have also set the minimum height and width of the tab to be 500 x 500.  Once the browser gets smaller than that scroll bars appear.

          <?xml version="1.0"?>
          <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute">
              <mx:TabNavigator left="50" right="50" top="50" bottom="50" minWidth="500" minHeight="500">
                  <mx:Canvas label="Tab 1" width="100%" height="100%">
                  </mx:Canvas>
              </mx:TabNavigator>
          </mx:Application>

          Hope this helps
