When you're ready to push to a web server, you'll want to create a release build. That's done in Flex Builder by selecting Project > Export Release Build...
Then you'll have a set of files in your bin-release (by default that's what it's called anyway) folder. Those are the files you can just ftp to the site.

Helpful/Answered? Don't forget to mark it that way.
Where can I find out what the export release build does? I did it but can't find the files?
You can specify this folder name but, as default it should be bin-release folder...
That's what it says, but I do a search on my machine and it isn't there.
But the underlying problem is that I don't understand how to sync my site with the server.
My site is d:\my documents\my websites\bassfishing with my local root d:\my documents\my websites
My server is http://www.bassfishing.org
I don't know how to use relative links to tell files in my bassfishing/bin-debug folder to look for files in my http://www.bassfishing.org/bin-debug or if that's even where I should be putting them.
I think there's a fundamental understanding that I'm missing and haven't found the right book to read. Any help is appreciated.
I finally figured it out.
All I needed to do was change the localhost to my server name. The reason I couldn't get it to work was that I didn't have the crossdomain.xml file on my server.
If someone would have spent 5 minutes to put that on the tutorial, I could have saved about 50 hours.
