Ah found the reason as to why:
We had no trouble with it in the morning, but as soon as someone opened a pdf, the hell froze over.
At least I found it, now time to solve it
Was wondering if you figured out anything, im having the exact same issue, and all can find on the net is profile issues or people saying just re-install and that dosent work...
Ive installed old versions un-installed tried the newest version... every time going through the registry and removing all adobe files before restarting and trying a new version..
So its obvisouly not reader doing it but i can't get it fixed
any help would be awesome
I solved the issue, i removed al versions of NET.Framework, after that i installed the windows installer cleanup tool http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2. exe start the tool and remove any entry's of NET.Framework that are left.
Install the NET.Framework versions again http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100 and you can start adobe again
