I'm sure there is a single command for this but I can't find it, so my workaround is a long list of 'replace' commands :-(
vari = vari.replace(/%22/g,"'");
vari = vari.replace(/%20/g," ");
vari = vari.replace(/%3C/g,"<");
Help!!! How do I unencode my URL encoded string?
Thanks BaBo. I had tried that but in the wrong format. I used
vari = vari.unescape();
which gave a compile error, instead of
var = unescape(vari);
which works fine.
