If you don't want to optimise, don't use it – use Save as...

dec9 Sep 12, 2009 2:30 PM (in response to :::chromax:::)Well in PS CS4 you can't Save As because you will lose all your slice options. Not sure about PS CS3 and below. Maybe someone else knows a work around.

Zeno Bokor Sep 12, 2009 11:51 PM (in response to :::chromax:::)how large of an image are we talking about here? the Save for Web & Devices dialog isn't meant to save out large images. Also, how much RAM do you have and how much of it is assigned to Photoshop?

5. Re: Save for Web - change default preview options!
:::chromax::: Sep 13, 2009 4:36 AM (in response to Zeno Bokor)Thats not important. I can save my slices without problem.
Its just because I always have to wait 20 seconds till photoshop
creates the optimized-view (that I don´t want to see) and if the
file is too large, I get the error. But the point is, I don´t want to
see that view, I just want to save my slices and done.
As I can see, adobe just simply forgotten to save the last view
in this dialog. If I select the "Original"-view and go out with "Done"
the next time I open this dialog, there should be also the "Original"-view.
Please adobe, fix that!
