Uninstall, run Clean Script a couple of times and reinstall. Maybe even deactivate before uninstalling. Copy, as you noticed, does not work, since your registry entries are not adjusted.

I assume that you mean that you replaced your C:\ with a larger HDD and that you had backed up your CS3 programs, and restored to that new C:\. Is that correct?
If you just added a new, larger HDD, and it is NOT your C:\, remember that Adobe programs really want to be on the C:\. Many will not run at all from another drive letter.
