I have a really old .exe Director ptojector file which I made in year 2003(maybe like Director 8.5??), I haven't open the file for years, last time I opened it on old Mac classic 9, that's about it. I coudn't open on PC at all.
I just installed the director 11.5 trial, and look through the help as well, is it that I can use the Lingo and open it as a player ??
but how to write the code? I am not fimilar with the lingo.
let say my file is at D:\
and file name is "projector.exe"
how do I write it in lingo?
on windows xp.
and any tips on convert it to something else that I dont need the director to see it.
An executable can be launched without the help of any other program. You need the .dir file (the file created in the Director authoring environment) in order to get code or assets from it.
