I have text frame with scrolling bar on right which is set as "Input Text".
Is it possible to include images into same text frame.
If I run this script:
scroller.htmlText = "<img src='portrait.jpg'>";
Image shows but my previously entered text disappears.
Also is it possible to prevent text entering or deleting while movie is running?
Basically I created text with a scroller i need to prevent it from modifying "entering/deleting"
text on runtime plus I need to populate it with images!
Thank you ahead
I turned my text into Dynamic Text and that prevented text input.
I still did not find how to input images?
I would appreciate some help.
Do i need to embed HTML into dynamic text field and if i need can i format it with external css?
If you want to combine text and images in a dynamic textfield then you need to assign it using the htmlText property... both the text and the images. Controlling image placement and text isn't clean though. You can also mix in CSS though I am not familiar with that process. If you research CSS in the Flash help documents or thru Google you are likely to find explanations and examples.
