I run Adobe Reader 9.1.3 on Windows XP SP3. I have a PDF-file which I can view in Adobe Reader. When I try to print it, the print dialogue comes up with a preview of the document, then when I select OK nothing happens. No error message whatsoever, nothing is sent to the spool queue, no indication of any activity at all, the dialogue windows just closes.
Tried with different printers/drivers without success. No problems with other PDF-files.
Does anyone have similar experiences, understands why no error message pops up and possibly have a solution?
Note: Printing the PDF-file does work in other PDF-readers; Foxit Reader and Cool PDF Reader
can you print other things from that computer?
Yes, I can print anything else as usual. I can print any other PDF from Adobe reader. I can print the problematic PDF from other PDF-viewers, just not from Adobe Reader. It would seem that there is some format error in the problematic PDF, but my first concern is then why Adobe Reader give no error message or other indication of a problem at all, it just does nothing when I click ok on the print dialogue.
