Is the browser window actually big enough for the content? Or is it smaller, and you're expecting to get scrollbars instead of clipping?
Any chance you could post a sample app or HTML file somewhere for us to look at?
Yes, I just ran into this tonight. It seems the the flash content cuts off at around 1280 px in the y.
Less than that I have not had a problem. Hope that helps support fix the bug.
Firefox 3.5.3 running on OS X 10.5.8 (Intel Mac Book Pro)
You can look at the html in Firefox(latest version) and IE (I have been using IE6, but I believe it is ok in the latest version) and see the difference in the HTML output at - http://s218460240.onlinehome.us/deploy-to-web_Decarlo/Main.html. The catalyst object is supposed to be 850 px wide by 650 px high.
Thanks for your reply!
I can confirm that this renders correctly in Safari an incorrectly in FireFox.
I'm not sure if its getting worse or that I'm just now becoming more aware of
the cropping but I also notice it being cropped on the x and my .swf should
be 768 wide but cuts off somewhere around 742 px.
The effect is that my datalists don't horizontal scroll the last object on to the
@http://forums.adobe.com/people/2107271210727 -- I just visited your link in Firefox and I did not notice any croping.
Of course I'm not sure where/what it is croping. The app's drop shadow was
intacted on the right and bottom so I'm guessing it rendered fine.
I actually had something similar happen to me recently, where I was looking at a Flex app in Firefox and it suddenly became cropped after my fingers brushed the trackpad on my Mac. It turned out that I had accidentally executed a "zoom in" gesture, and it looks like "zooming in" on a page generated by Catalyst simply causes the app to get cropped (and not scaled). The problem was "sticky" in that future pages in the same tab or new tabs had the same issue (because Firefox retains the zoom factor of the current page). View > Zoom > Reset (or Ctrl/Cmd-0) fixed the problem.
Is it possible that this is what happened to you?
Wow! thanks a lot!
I was starting to think bad things from FF...
