    Zoom in/out

    surfi2000

Hi,  I have created the following flash project: http://www.weidts.de/flash.zip

How do I do it so I have 4 of those turning wheels but smaller and then when you move the mouse over one it zooms in to the full size like it is now. When you then move the mouse away from it you see all 4 again.  Thanks

I am not able to open your file, but to zoom anything essentially involves tweening the size of it.  This is probably most easily accomplished using actionscript.  Look into the Tween class to see how to have things change properties such as size, position, opacity, etc.  In your case you would be tweening the x/y scale properties or the height/width properties, simultaneously using rollover/rollout events to trigger them.

I have saved the project as a cs3 file now: http://www.weidts.de/cs3.zip

I have tried to do what you suggested but that didn't work. I probably did it wrong. Could you have a look?

I don't see where you tried anything.  Also, your original posting indicates something about four things, but I don't know what to relate that to... meaning I am not even sure what you are trying to change the scale of.  If you could have the four things you speak of in the file, along with your attempt to make the scaling work, I may be in a better position to try to help.
