My background image previews correctly in Safari and IE, but it shows up almost all the way off the top of the page in Firefox. HELP! Here is my code

Hard to do so without actually seeing what you are describing - can you
upload the page and post a link to it, please?

First off, 20 minutes is not a reason to bump a post. There are some people around here who will ignore your post for that exact reason.

With that out of the way your syntax should be:

              background: url(2140519672_bc4a636f5f_o.jpg) fixed center bottom no-repeat;

Lastly, you know you can rename files. I know I find it hard to keep track of what an image is if I just give it a name like that.

Try adding some dummy text to your page between the <body> and </body> tags
                like so.

                <p>This is content. </p>
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Nullam gravida
enim ut risus. Praesent sapien purus, ultrices a, varius ac, suscipit ut,
enim. Maecenas in lectus. Donec in sapien in nibh rutrum gravida. Sed ut
mauris. Fusce malesuada enim vitae lacus euismod vulputate. Nullam rhoncus
mauris ac metus. Maecenas vulputate aliquam odio. Sed ut mauris. Fusce
malesuada enim vitae lacus euismod vulputate. Nullam rhoncus mauris ac
metus. Maecenas vulputate aliquam odio. </p>

                Does this help?

Actually, the specifications are for background to have <color> | <url> |
<repeat> | <attachment> | <position> in that order, not the order you show.
Yet, the validator at jigsaw validates either of the sequences.

And why did you include the fixed attachment?

Thanks so much it worked! And sorry for the bump. This is my first time here so I don't know the code of proper behavior.

Nope. In case of the 'background' property it's a double bar - a small,
                      but important difference.

                      >Yet, the validator at jigsaw validates either of the sequences.

Because it's correct. From the spec:

                      | A double bar (||) separates two or more options: one or more of them
                      | must occur, in any order.
                      ^^^^^^^^^^^^
In some cases the order of some properties does indeed matter (see
'font' for example), but usually you can order them the way you want.
