    How to go back to previous view state?

      What is the best way to manage the currentstate in this situation:

      During a state change in one MXML component I add a child MXML component. During processing in the child MXML how can I change the currentstate of the first component (parent)?

          Generate an event that the parent can then respond to by changing its state.
