Stan Jones Sep 21, 2009 9:20 PM (in response to JSS1138)If that is what you intend (to select chapters but never the whole timeline), just ignore the warning about the orphan timeline. It is more a warning than an error.

Lame Tigrrrr Sep 22, 2009 1:57 AM (in response to Stan Jones)I'm afraid I can't just ignore it, Stan. Because when I built my dvd, only the menu was played, buttons were not selectable and therefore you cannot jump to any chapter--you cannot play the entire movie at all. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Stan Jones Sep 22, 2009 5:50 AM (in response to Lame Tigrrrr)Look at the flowchart view; is it what you think you have? (Post a screen shot.)
Are you sure the menu is constructed correctly?
I suspect the problem is not the orphan timeline, but you could add a button and link to it.

Make sure one of the buttons links to the timeline. You can add a Play All, or just link the first button and use an Override to stop when the first chapter finishes.
