I'm getting together components for a new system to edit HD video from a Sony Z5. I am going to go with Windows 7 and was just wondering if there are benefits to opting for Professional or save the money and get the Home Premium edition.
Thanks very much,
Pro. Look here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/compare-editions/default.aspx
"Run many Windows XP productivity programs in Windows XP Mode."
Certain plug-ins will need that. It's a good idea to have it just in case. Go Pro.
Thank you guys, decision made!
I also found this site stating the memory limits for each version:
Sounds like Pro is the eventual way to go.
