    Serious Error has Occured

    SeattleProduction

      Hello all -

Having an issue with Premiere Pro CS4 and was looking for some help.

Running CS4 Creative Suite Production Premium. Vista 64bit - HP xw8600 Dual Quad Core (Intel Xeon 3.00Ghz) - Nivida Quadro FX 4800 - 24 GB Ram - 120 GB free Hard drive space. Updated all drivers.

Have been using the Production Suite for about 2 months now mainly using After Effects and Photoshop. Needed to do some quick editing using Premiere Pro but when I import any media (QT, PNG, PSD, JPG, AVI...etc.) as soon as I double click on the media to view in the source monitor I get the error "Sorry, a serious error has occured that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project." Everything else in the program seems to work fine. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Production Suite... but to no avail.

Having no other issues with CS4...looking for any help.

      Thanks in advance SeattleProduction.
