    Flex Automation Error

    Ricardo RFE

I have an issue when using the flex automation framework, maybe someone can help me.

I am testing an application that involves saving of a file from flex, when a user clicks on a button a ie Save dialog window

appears so that the user can save the file.

What happens is when i simulate the event click for that object an exception occurs saying:

Error #2176: Certain actions, such as those that display a pop-up window, may only be invoked upon user interaction, for example by a mouse click or button press.

But if i enter the application and do that click by myself everthing goes ok.

This is a new Security feature for flash player 10 that prevents this, my question is if there is no way

to override this behavior since i am testing the application using the automation framework of flex??.

I have set all the global security settings to allow to see if this behavior was disabled but everything remain the same.

This prevents me from automation the test.

Can anyone help me on this??

      Sorry for the bad english.
