1. Re: ANN: Tutorial on incorporating Bridge web gallery into existing site
petarsubotic Sep 27, 2009 1:28 AM (in response to David_Powers)So, if I was to skip all your steps, just create the div and put <iframe src ="kyoto/index.html" width="100%" height="100%"> </iframe> in it. That would save me a lot of time, right?
But what's the fun in that ?

David_Powers Jul 6, 2011 11:57 AM (in response to petarsubotic)Good point, Petar. I'm currently doing some tests with an iframe, and will amend my tutorial (with a credit to you) when I can solve the problems.
The main problem is that the iframe drops below the floated navigation bar in my example. I suspect the answer is probably to use absolute positioning. Normally, I advise against absolute positioning, but for a fixed size element, it should be OK.

David_Powers Sep 27, 2009 3:14 AM (in response to David_Powers)I have worked out the solution. Putting the <iframe> in a <div> makes it behave properly alongside a floated element. Petar's suggestion has given me another idea, so I'll do a bit of reworking on the tutorial.

Cuzin Willie Dec 18, 2009 4:10 PM (in response to David_Powers)Thank you soooo very much for this tutorial.
I am very grateful that you posted this since there isn't much information available on this subject and I'm not a "code" person. I tested this out the iframe option and it works wonderfully. Now those patches of hair can grow back in and my client will be happy.
I can't wait to test out and implement the alternative option of modifying the code to the Bridge generated index.html file.
Again, thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!

JAK Curator Mar 9, 2011 5:47 AM (in response to David_Powers)This previews just fine from Dreamweaver but when uploaded non
of my images load. Please see www.jakgallery.com/19701979
All I get is the circular wait icon. Thanks very much for any help you can give. It seems I am one little step away from making it work.
