So I have footage that is blowing out when transferred to dvd and played on a tv...
I have Premiere CS4 - I tried using the Broadcast Colors effects, but it was doing weird things to a guys white shirt in the video (and I noticed that it left info that was above a certain range basically just chopping out a band on the waveform)
- so I went to the Curves effect and lowered the Master Curve on the right just a little bit to bring the waveform under the 100 mark - is that all I have to do?
Try it and see. Report back for others.
Well, I guess I must have set curves too low, I started getting a weird color artifact around bright objects.
What would you recommend - what is the correct way to lower "digital white" from 110% to an acceptable Broadcast level? What do you use?
Thanks anyone who can help,
Is Broadcast Colors Effect any good at all?
I typically add the Fast Color Corrector and reduce the Output level until the image information gets knocked down to the proper 235 level.
