it's the same as you normally use.
hmmm why isn't it working then?
If i do the include in the same movie where I want to call the function from, it works.
Problem is that it is loaded into the main movie where I load the movie in from where I want to call the function.
Main.swf (inlcude here)
|-> form.swf (call function here)
the include must execute before any of its code is used.
that's correct, and it does that, because it is loaded (read included) immediateley in the main when the app starts up and via a menu button in the main movie I load the other swf into the main movie....
what makes you think it's not working?
i have put a trace in it...and this doesn't work....
Its' just think that I tbecause the function is in the root of the movie
I just have to call it from the root
instead of myFunction()
it's not a function. it's a string method that you created and it should be available to all strings after it executes. are you sure you have no typo in your external swf?
