I am showing an html stream generated on the server by the SQL reporting services report. The report has a barcode based a font 128. When it's loaded into the html component in the AIR application the barcode is not rendered but shown as a value. Do I need to add any fonts to my AIR application?
Is there any chance to change the behavior of an HTML component to render html stream just like IE does?
I'm not sure what you mean. If you are talking about the data url scheme, then, no, that is not currently supported.
Also, embedding fonts isn't supported in the HTMLControl of AIR. To use an embedded font (i.e. a font not installed on the user's computer), you would have to embed the font in a SWF file and render the barcode as a flesh display object. In an HTML-based AIR app, you could concevably use the already existing scalable Inman Flash replacement technique: http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/sifr/
