    Error Message When Opening Reader on Vista: Reader V 9.1

    Penguin40

      I have been using reader for awhile with no problems.

      Tonight I tried to view a .pdf file saved on my desktop and got the following error message:

      Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

      Program C:\\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.32exe

      This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

      Please contact the application's support team for more information.

      It then closes, sends and error report to Microsoft and opens up a solution window that there is a new version available.

      I uninstalled, ran a registry cleaner and reinstalled and I'm still getting the same error. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

      I am also running Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X (according to my installed programs listed).

      Thanks in advance.
