Hi, I was just about to ask the same question. I have had PE7 for about three weeks, and now can't find the downloads you mention.
The additional content is virtually identical for versions 7 and 8. However, if you've installed the content from the installation disk, you've got it all.
There are additional themes, templates and effects available if you opt for a Plus Photoshop.com account.
And can find lots of free templates, tutorials, tips, stock footage, motion backgrounds and music on the products page of http://Muvipix.com. Even more are available if you purchase a subscription membership.
I tried to install the one at the APE8 site but during install I get the message that I need to have APE8 installed on the computer....so that doesn't work.
I'm afraid, then, that if you don't have version 7 installation disks, this additional installation material is no longer available.
However, you may want to look into the other sources I noted above.
Adobe is pretty good at maintaining previous versions for download a lot longer than many other software companies. I'd bet that they still have an FTP site, with those files, though it might not be readily available with simple site navigation. I'd contact the Adobe Store and ask for the URL for the download, per your invoice. I'd be surprised if they have already taken that down. Hope that I am NOT surprised.
While there, ask them about an upgrade to PrE 8, if you're within 30 days of purchase.
Good luck, and please report back.
Is somebody has the link for the full content? Did you have an answer from the store?
I send an email to Adobe too and no answer...
Addititional content is no longer available for version 7 by download, Lee. It is only available on the program's installation disk.
Thank you for your answer, it's a probleme for me because i had premeiere elements 7 for free with my computer and I don't have any cd... I don't understand why Adobe don't keep the links for the older versions... I have this software for free, i don't want to buy new version.
