I have a large project that I have just imported into TCS1 (using FM 8.0p277 and RH 7.0.3.001).
Many of the xrefs in RH are pointing to the wrong place. They're live links, but to some random topic in another chapter. They're fine in FM.
What I discovered is:
The FM files have been heavily rewritten and restructured. So an existing xref marker might say "Heading1:This Title", whereas the heading level has been changed to Heading2, and/or the text of the title has changed (I haven't gone back to see if it's really one or the other, or both situations). So FM is still pointing to the correct marker, but somehow RH is looking to the heading level or text of the marker. I'm not sure how it's deciding what to put in its place though.
I deleted the xref marker and recreated the xref, and it translates ok to RH.
So I'm faced with recreating many xrefs in about 550 topics.
Does anyone know of an easier solution, or at least verify that this is a known bug?
