Atfer opening my Dashboard at http://adobe.myserver.com/contentspace/faces/jsp/dashboards/container.jsp I got an information:

" Beim Zugreifen auf die Benutzerberechtigungen liegt ein Problem vor. Grund: Cannot access resource type 'AdobeWorkspace'.

Is someone familiar with this problem? What's to do?

CS Version is 8.2.1 Patch-Version : SP3 QF 3.19 , with Forms and Ares (no Worplace) installed.

Greetings, IngGrin

Did you give the user that you are logging in with the right to access Content Services? This woudl be done in the LiveCycle Adminui, under User Management. there you can assign the Content Services User or Admin roles to the named user or group.

Also - typically a port number is required to access the server (unless you changed it to port 80).

So on my server the URL is:

http://servername:8080/contentspace

Hello,

I tried both - Superuser (Administrator) which should have all necessary rights, and a normal user with grated appropriate rights.

The dashboard is shown but there is this yellow remark as below:

Zwischenablage01.jpg

So, what's the trick with "resource type AdobeWorkspace"?

That is a link that will connect you to the Process Management workspace. Do you have process management installed? Without the process management suite installed you will not be able to get there. The link is:

http://servername:port number/workspace

Try that URL and see if you can get connected outside of CS.

That's it! It seems that CS accesses usually workspace which isn't licensed.

Hm, where can I switch off that feature? CS could also take a look of installed components to do that dynamically ...
