To add more detail to the previous post:
The spell checker seems to work correctly when the UIComponent is in the base state, however, if you have another state (i.e. Edit) you cannot access certain UIComponents during initialize. This may be fixed in the future release from the reply in the previous post by Jeff S. - allowing for later init() calls.
You are right. These are caused by the same bug and should be fixed in next release.

Thank you for your prompt response and we definitely look forward to the next release.
Could you please validate if this issue has been resolved for you in Squiggly v0.2?

I think I have the same probleme.
The customization of the contextMenu don't work in TitleWindow.
I use SDK 4.1 and the bug seems not to be fixed... or is there a secret way to do this ?
Is there any update on this issue? We are having very similar problems.
We have a mx:RichTextEditor that we are using spell checking with. When we put this into an mx:Panel it works just fine but when we put it inside of a s:Panel it doesn't If any of its parents are a s:Panel it breaks and won't show the custom contextMenu.
Can someone please help with this issue?
This issue seems to still be an issue. I have the latest Squiggly and Flex SDK 4.6 and everything works except suggestions (right click) in a popup window. Any ideas?
