    Auto-Save project files - CS4

    Jack Banatoni Level 1

This seems pretty obvious, but I just want to be sure.  To use one of the auto-save project files, you just copy it back out of the folder into your original save location, correct?  I did this and renamed the file (to a different name than my original/corrupt file).

I read the documentation about using the Auto-Save feature, but didn't see anything in the help file about restoring a project.  Again, I assume this is because the obvious answer should be the correct answer.

My eSATA connection came unplugged while working on my project and the original file now crashes Premiere before it even opens.  Luckily, the last backup file looks like it was made shortly before the original file was corrupted.  I've been using Premiere for several years and this is the first time I've needed to use a backup file.

      Thanks,

      JB
