Courier New paragraph style for code samples looks fine in RoboHelp HTML (RH 8) project (published as Web Help) and in published content, if accessed with IE. however in other products (i.e., Firefox), the Courier New styles are coming out as Arial, or variable spaced font, so columnar data is not correctly aligned (using spaces, not tabs).
What do I add to my .css file to make the styles come out (as I intended--in unicode--or "same number of points (horizontal spacing) for each character."
sample problem page (sample code text fine in IE 8, but not aligned not in Firefox): http://docs.ubmatrix.com/webhelp/XDA/1_0_1/Verifying_the_application.htm
Here's the HTML for a line:
<p class="CodeSample" style="font-family: 'Courier New', monospace;">XBRL_CONCEPTS           0;               0;718</p>
The css code is: letter-spacing, see the W3C schools. I don't know if you can add it trough the styles dialog, so you may need to add it manually.
I doubt whether this is the solution, since the page you provided views correct for IE8, Firefox 3.5 and Opera9. Are you sure that it isn't a browser setting that is overwriting your style?
