We're building a web application that allows coparents to keep a shared calendar. If a parent is responsible for an "overnight", the calendar is coded with their color. Caregivers such as Nanny's and grandparent's can also have an overnight.
Colors are dynamically assigned from a palette (can be customized afterwards). We started with a palette that had a lot of "distance" between each successive color so that it would be easy to distinguish, but...it looks terrible.
Any ideas on how to create a palette that will be visually appealing but that will also allow adjacent days to be easily distinguished?
