I have an object (A) that contains another object(B). I would like object A to have a certain state based on parameters in object B. Such as , A.state="Work" if B.selection=null. The only way I can think of doing this is through events. But that seems a little too involved for something so simple. Points WILL be awarded for almost-completely correct answers.
if your (A) is a container, use B.owner property to get reference to the (A) and then A(B.owner).currentState='Work'
