I am using VBScriptXtra in director and hoped someone would be able to help me with something.
I am struggling trying to translate this line into lingo:
I have tried
sprite(2).lineopen = string("LINECALLPRIVILEGE OWNER", "LINEMEDIAMODE DATAMODEM")
this is from the help:
LineOpen - Public (Return Datatype: Long)
Description: Open the line to receive new calls.
Return: Zero if success, or an error number describe the error
I really hope someone can help I am desperate with this.
It looks like the datatypes are enums. They are probably integers that map via a lookup table to these values LINEMEDIAMODE and LINECALLPRIVILEGE. You should reverse the lookup and determine what "raw" values you need to pass as arguments to the LineOpen() function. The ObjectBrowser xtra should help you look up enumerated values if you poke around with it in the ActiveX control you're using.
Thanks for your help, i actually got some help from designer of xtra and have now fixed the problem.
So what did you do to fix it?
