    AP Div Gradient Background

    Akermay
      Hi

I am currently constructing a website with Dreamweaver CS3 and i want a box in the centre of my page with a black border, this is where i will put all my sites content. Currently I have made an AP Div and given it a white background and banged it in the middle of my page. Though i cant figure out how to put a gradient background on the AP Div, how? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

          Josh,
You need to learn a few things about how html and CSS works and doesn't work
before you dive in and build a web site.

First read this article on Absolutely Positioned Divisions or DW "Layers"
          http://apptools.com/examples/pagelayout101.php

Then have a look at this basic demo with 3 image slices.
          http://alt-web.com/Image-slices-in-a-CSS-based-layout.html

And when you're ready for more, go through this entire tutorial:
Taking a Fireworks comp to a CSS based layout in DW
