So I've created a very basic application using OSMF. Just using a SerialElement to play back a video.
When I use the following code to reference an flv that lives out on my server it plays back great. When I try to reference a local/relative file I get nothing.
You'll see I have both versions below and I've commented out the one that works.
var serialElement:SerialElement = new SerialElement();
var videoOne:VideoElement = new VideoElement ( new NetLoader, new URLResource(new URL("StarTrek_HD.flv")));
//var videoOne:VideoElement = new VideoElement ( new NetLoader, new URLResource(new URL("http://speed.pointroll.com/PointRoll/Media/Asset/Ford/20911/F-150_Cheeseburger_F_7_700k.fl v")));
Is there another class I should be using besides URLResource to play local/relative files?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
There is a bug filed for this already. I believe the relative path will work if you add "./" to the beginning of the file name.
Thanks, Charles! Works great.
For future reference, where are bugs being posted to?
