gregstephen Oct 20, 2009 1:58 AM (in response to Lockwood Media Group)Hi,
I have the same error 25 not enough disc space!
I exported my video 1h57 from Ppro cs4 to Media encoder CS4 : mpeg2 blu-ray 24000Kbps=> 22Go .
In Encore CS4 with only 1 button to try, i have this error 25.
It's strange cause It says that i have 500Mo free.
?????
thx

4. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
Lockwood Media Group Oct 20, 2009 4:01 AM (in response to gregstephen)I think I have the issue narrowed down, it appears that a 25 GB Blu-ray DVD will only hold 23.89GB. Encore doesn't check for this, and encodes files too large. I'm doing a re-encode, and I will let you know what the results are later today. Good luck solving your problem!

6. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
Lockwood Media Group Oct 22, 2009 2:50 PM (in response to Lockwood Media Group)Ok I was able to re-encode the file to a smaller size and it worked. The first time I tried to create this project I let Encore do all of the encoding and it was still too large, even though Encore said there was 8mb free. Manually Encode the DVD to 23.89 GB or smaller and it should work. It would be nice if the team at Adobe could fix this bug. Good Luck everyone!

gregstephen Oct 23, 2009 2:51 AM (in response to Lockwood Media Group)Thanks Alan,
This bug forces us to decrease the quality...
What about the Demultiplexing bug ?
I'm going to try with Encore to multiplexing my video.
To see if my video is larger than no demultiplexing like in Media Encorer.
It's not very cool to have 2 files, one for video and one for audio.
Bye

Lockwood Media Group Oct 23, 2009 5:23 AM (in response to gregstephen)Hi Steph,
I was successfully using dynamic link in this situation, perhaps that would be a good choice for you.

9. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
h2ofun Feb 6, 2010 7:14 PM (in response to Lockwood Media Group)I have now again hit the same issue, with BR. I use dynamic link and works fine with 8 slideshows for DVD. But for the second project now, trying to do the BR, it dies saying not enough media. Says encode 32.87 of 50, so that is not the issue. If it is like my other project I am still trying to get working, if I take the slideshows out, it will work fine.

Giorgio1957 Feb 7, 2010 3:27 AM (in response to h2ofun)Hi guys,
do not know if this could help or not.
I've made Encore project with only displayed 50 Mb of free disk space.
But I didn't burn the disk directly from En, I built a disk image, then burned with "Ashampoo Burning Studio"
No problem at all!!!
I know this is a work around but I know BR is a new technology also, so I'm patient
Hope this helps
Ciao

12. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
Giorgio1957 Feb 7, 2010 4:44 AM (in response to Giorgio1957)Just another try: the firmware "this unknown".
Just minutes ago I was trying to burn a data CD.
I burned (really BURNED!!!!!!!) 3 CDs without success: it failed all the time.
Tried with other softwares: same result!!
So I went to Pioneer website and downloaded latest firmware that ALREADY I'VE INSTALLED (dated back to July 2008).
Bingoo!! All the two BD writers works great with CDs.
Sometimes some drivers go corrupted by misterious operations (registry data cleaner first (very unuseful)).
So another challenge Vs bad luck could be a refresh.
Obviously, Steph, this is not your case, sorry.
Hope this helps
Ciao

13. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
h2ofun Feb 7, 2010 5:33 AM (in response to Giorgio1957)All of my projects in Encore I make out to images. Had never burned media yet, and have no plans to. What is weird is when I check the project, it tells me I do not have enough disc space which again makes no sense. Says the project is 36 gig, and am saying use a 50 gig size.

14. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
CAOLSEN Jun 14, 2010 2:04 PM (in response to Lockwood Media Group)I too am having the same problem, a code 25 error saying I don't have enough space for image file. Of course I have plenty of space, I tried saving it to a diffrent drive, same problem.
I have not found as solution for this yet...this wasn't an issue for me with CS4.

15. Re: Has anyone sloved Blu-ray Error 25?
h2ofun Jun 14, 2010 2:10 PM (in response to CAOLSEN)I did find a solution, but it was not real pretty. Basically, I had to start the project over. Now, I had info I could reuse, like titles, etc. but I did a brand new encore project. On both projects I had issues on, this fixed them both.

CAOLSEN Jun 14, 2010 2:24 PM (in response to h2ofun)Thanks!
You mean you just started over from scratch.
Funny, I made several ISO images using AVCHD footage files and didn't have an issue.
This is the first project I used Mpeg2 files and it just won't make an image file. It will burn it to disc though? Go figure.
I'm going to try to start it over just to see if that fixes it...I don't know what I'll do different though?
Thank you so much for the email!!
