Reader 9.2.0 Says I Have No Printers Installed

    Chaltis

I've just installed Adobe Reader 9.2.0 on a new PC at home. When I try to print a PDF it says I must install a printer to use any print function. However, I've got several printers installed (some local, some networked) and I can see them when I invoke Reader's "Print Setup". I can also print to my printers in other applications (Word, etc). Is there a fix or an update expected? I have no problems with earlier releases of Reader on other PCs on the home network I run.

By chance I've found a workaround.

I noticed that the same bug occurred in Reader 8, so used the workaround recommended for that release.

I assigned a local printer as the default Windows printer. Reader then allows me to print so I can choose which printer (remote) on which to print.

However, it's poor that Adobe haven't yet fixed in Reader 9.0 a bug that was reported in Reader 8.
