    Drag proxy - alpha transparency not working

    tenlethar1

      Hello there,

      after some investigation i figured out why the very basic method for defining a drag proxy didnt work in my AIR application. I had to use a BitmapAsset instead of an image. This worked. But setting the alpha value has no effect.

      Can someone help me with getting this solved properly?

      Thank you so much!

                private function mouseMoveHandler(e:MouseEvent):void {      var dragInitiator:Image=Image(e.currentTarget);      var ds:DragSource = new DragSource();      ds.addData(this.source,'img');      var dragProxy:BitmapAsset=new BitmapAsset();     try {           dragProxy.bitmapData=new BitmapData(this.contentWidth,this.contentHeight);           dragProxy.bitmapData.draw(this);           DragManager.doDrag(dragInitiator, ds, e, dragProxy);      } catch(err:Error){           DragManager.doDrag(dragInitiator, ds, e);      } }
