sorry this is so basic...how can I select multiple layers (and their keyframes) which may span, say, 2 minutes, and reduce this to say 1 minute for all the layers, compressing all the keyframes closer together, etc. Thanks
Your question makes it seem that you're trying to compress the time of the layers themselves (i.e., make the video footage run faster). If that's true, then you could just precompose the layers and then apply time remapping (or time stretching) to the precomposition layer.
thanks...selecting keys in layer bar mode works...I was hoping though there would be a way to select multiple layers and both "compress the space between individual keyframes" like sliding them with the option key held down -- while also sliding the endpoints of the layers too. Rather than rotating open each individual layer, selecting their keyframes, then after sliding the keys, individually cutting the endpoints of each layer -- it would be nice to just throw a lattice around all the layers which would catch all their keyframes and endpoints, to then slide and adjust all together at once. sorry about the novice terminology
