The video should be playing in the bottom right column under the radio ad. You'll see the line "Watch our television ad". -

Newsgroup_User Jul 18, 2008 9:46 AM (in response to Ben M)Where's your Script folder with your AC_RunActiveContent.js file? Have
you uploaded? It's supposed to be in:
http://www.baribeef.com/Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js
but it's not.

webIncite Jul 18, 2008 10:47 AM (in response to Ben M)Nope. The file is there. I even deleted and uploaded it again. -

Ben M Jul 18, 2008 11:33 AM (in response to webIncite)Check the case and everything. TV is not the same as tv. Because if you click that link the file should appear but you get a page not found error. And that is what is not loading. -
9. Re: FLV in Dreamweaver
webIncite Jul 18, 2008 11:54 AM (in response to Ben M)I checked and everything is the same. As a matter of fact, I used Dreamweaver's insert function so that the file name and path would be correct. My only other thought on the matter is that whoever converted the video didn't use the correct codec. I've emailed the company, but have not heard back from them, yet. What is the likelihood that that is the problem? -

Ben M Jul 18, 2008 12:00 PM (in response to webIncite)I hate to tell you this, but it is 0. If you click that link are telling me you see a file? If the answer to that question is no, then please post the path to where the file is.
Here is the link again:

11. Re: FLV in Dreamweaver
webIncite Jul 18, 2008 12:18 PM (in response to Ben M)The path you have is the correct one. When I tested the file from my desktop, the flv was in a .htm file. On the server, the file is an .asp file. Another thing I've tried, if I put the flv in Flash and test the movie, the movie will not play. I only see the controller.
I see that I can attach code here, but can I attach an flv file? -
12. Re: FLV in Dreamweaver
webIncite Jul 18, 2008 12:24 PM (in response to webIncite)One other thing I forgot to mention. After your last post, I changed the name of the file from "baribeefTV.flv" to "baribeeftv.flv". The original flv is still in the images folder. I moved the lower case version to the same level as the index file, but it still had the same result. -
13. Re: FLV in Dreamweaver
webIncite Jul 19, 2008 1:55 PM (in response to webIncite)Thank you everyone for all of your help. In the end, the problem was with the host server. They did not have the MIME code on the server that would allow an .flv file to play. The problem has been fixed and the video now plays on the site. -
