Whenever i try to open any kind of file in Flash CS4 (version 10.0.2) , it instantly crashes, and i get the error message "Flash has quit unexpectedly."
This problem has only started to happen since I recently upgraded my brand new macbook pro to Snow Leopard (mac osx 10.6.1).
All other CS4 programs run fine,
Any advice on how to fix this would be hugely appreciated !
Thanks in advance,
I guess your Flash CS4 was running fine prior to the upgrade to Snow Leopard...
Nevertheless, Flash CS4 runs fine on Snow Leopard, per many Snow Leopard users.
See, if launching from a new user account with Admin privileges makes any difference...
You may even have to try uninstalling Flash CS4 completely from the current account and installing from a new account if the above does not work...
I created a new admin account, opened Flash and its now running perfectly.
Have you got any ideas as to why its not running in my proper user account?
I am not a Mac user so haven't got much idea about that but have heard of some profile/application settings getting corrupt during an upgrade to SL.
You are lucky not to have to reinstall it...:)
