AIR uses the operating network stack for network operations. Is the state of that stack the same when applications are running as a service as when running when a user has logged in? Authentication, for example, might be problematic with no user logged in. I don't know if there are other differences, but its a place to look.
That's very likely, for I installed it as a service with no user logged in. Let me try it differently and see if it fixes it.
Sorry still not working. I installed it with the system admin logon. No TCP session started.
Basically this AIR app as a service sitting in a secure zone will start to talk to a red5 server at DMZ.
As I said, it works fine when started alone, but as a service, it can start as a service ok, but just no tcp session is initiated.
Any more suggestions?
