I did a Presenter presentation for a client a year or so ago, worked fine. Yesterday I updated two of the slides with new sidebar animation videos (FLVs), also worked fine, but now the sidebar videos in three of the other old slides won't play. If you pause the presentation on those slides, the videos appear, but otherwise, they don't.
You can see the problem at http://www.best-light.com/dynascape/colorbreeze/ - see slides # 8, 10 and 12. The sidebar videos in those slides are SWFs. I'm using PowerPoint 2003. Any hints or advice would be most appreciated.
(You can see the original presentation working properly at http://www.dynascape.com/color/breeze/index.htm
I've been experimenting and have found a work-around, which doesn't solve the original problem but may shed some light on the nature of the bug to someone who knows something about the inner workings of Presenter ...
A work-around that works: I removed those 3 SWFs from the sidebars of their slides, and then re-inserted them (the exact same SWFs) onto the main stages of the slides. Now they appear and play as expected. You can see them here: http://www.best-light.com/dynascape/colorbreeze2/ - see slides 8, 10 & 12.
(When I originally tried removing one of the SWFs from the sidebar and then re-inserting it into the same place, i.e., the sidebar, it did not solve the problem.)
