Can you give me some details of your system? how much memory, cpu speed, etc. Have you had Production Premiumin running before? What kind of footage are you using? Have you tried trashing the prefs? Have you tried uninstalling/running CS4 Clean script/reinstalling?
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.4 GHz

XP Pro 2002 SP 3
NVIDIA JBOD 838 GB with 423 GB free
I have been unable to get Premiere to load so I have not worked with any footage at this point. I have followed several thread suggestions for uninstall and clean...most recently http://forums.adobe.com/message/1878297#1878297. I even went through the registry after the last clean. The only thing I couldn't do last time was run the Clean Script as the Administrator because I don't have the pw. However, my account is the only account on the machine and it is part of the Administrator's group.

Putting aside the Administrator account for a moment, do you have any VST's, maybe from Cubase, Native Instruments, or any other audio programs?
One thing to look for is a small line of text on the Splash Screen, while the program attemps to load. This text goes by quickly, but you should be able to see what is loading. What is the last thing to load, before the crash? Hint: you might want to set up a video camera (if you have a fast machine) to tape the Splash Screen and then pause on the last line.
It could be that element, or the next - the one we do not yet see.
Just some thoughts,
This ARTICLE might give you some tips on finding "clues," as to what is happening, when the program(s) close unexpectedly.
