Hey folks, I'm looking for ways to script InDesign CS3 preferences. I know about setting a specific workspace - app.applyWorkspace("myWorkspace") - but I'm wondering if there are ways to load a specific Keyboard Shortcut Set and to set the display performance preferences, specifically I'd like to set the Scrolling-Hand Tool preferences to Greek Images & Text. All of this I can do in a startup script so that trigger is looked after. Any suggestions are, of course, appreciated. Regards, Wil

As far as I know, there is now way to do this by script. But keyboard shortcut sets are saved as XML files, which you can copy to another computers.

app.grabberPreferences.grabberPanning = PanningTypes.GREEK_IMAGES_AND_TEXT;
I can certainly copy an xml file to a user directory on startup so that works. Thanks also for your feedback on display performance prefs.
