I believe it is a matter of resolution, the normal resolution in Illy being 72 PPI unless you resize, thus changing it (since you are not changing the image as you may in Photoshop). Can you see the resolution in the Info palette (I am still with 10)?
Thank you for taking the time to comment on this. The scans in question are
at 150 and they appear normal in Photoshop, but small in Illy. I need to
apply drop shadows to about 2,500 images and I like the look of the shadow
in Illy. Looks like the info pallete will resize quickly, but have to
figure out what is needed to get back the the original size. I might just
revert to 10...seems like it was easier to work with.

Sorry, I meant the Window>Document Info window. If it tells the resolution, you may change accordingly, through the Transform palette (Ctrl/Cmd+Enter) or Object>Transform>Scale.
