I have a sequence that will play once [the video is only 1:30 in length], but once I start editing and tweeking some edits, it refuses to play anymore.
There are a lot of avi, mov, mp3, and jpgs with a ton of animation going on. The project is setup using the Matrox in NTSC, 720x486, SD.
In order to get it to play again from the timeline I have to reboot the compter. I have all the latest upgrades for the entire Creative Suite 4 Production Premium, and have the latest version of drivers for the Matrox card [Matrox Mx. tools version: 126.96.36.199.]
Anyone else seen this?
AFAIK only Matrox users. Try without anything Matrox.
I uninstalled the Matrox Mx. Tools and then reinstalled them. Believer it or not, but that fixed the Play problem.
Now that I've had time to think about this one. I installed the Production Suite 4 upgrades after I had upgraded the Matrox Mx. Tools. I should have installed the other way around.
Thanks for giving me the inspiration from your response about getting out of Matrox to see if that would fix the problem.
I'm glad there is an Adobe Forum to get "instant" help from.
Glad you solved the issue and you can get back to editing now. Also that Matrox is not all that bad for you.
